Learning Log 17/06/13

Inside classroom learning log
Today is the third week. My friends present about Task based learning; project based learning and learning strategies four skills such as listening teaching, speaking teaching, reading teaching and writing teaching.
First, Task based learning is the primary focus of classroom activity is the task and language is the instrument which the students use to complete it. The task is an activity in which students use language to achieve a specific outcome. The activity reflects real life and learners focus on meaning. Each task will be organized in the following way: Pre-task activity an introduction to topic and task, Task cycle: Task > Planning > Report and Language Focus and Feedback.
Second, project based learning is Project Based Learning is an instructional approach built upon authentic learning activities that engage student interest and motivation. These activities are designed to answer a question or solve a problem and generally reflect the types of learning and work people do in the everyday world outside the classroom.
Learning strategies, such as listening teaching, speaking teaching, reading teaching and writing teaching all these method Is the focus of this lesson plan.
All method very important to emphasize the importance of relationship-driven classrooms where adult mentors help students engage more deeply in the learning process and develop rigorous, positive attitudes towards academic achievement.

                For this week, my friend present about teaching method. I very interested and is important to us. Today teacher choose three topics for present such as Belief, Content-Based Learning and Problem Based Learning.
                First, Belief is to anything for want to do such as belief to be teacher want to teach language are learned. So should to belief to method is the best to you.
Second, Content-Based Learning is an approach to language teaching that focuses not on the language itself, but rather on what is being taught through the language; that is, the language becomes the medium through which something new is learned. IN the CBI approach the student learns the TL by using it to learn sme other new content. For example by studying the French Revolution while using the French langauge. The language being learned and used is taught within the context of the content. The theory behind CBI is that when students are engaged with more content, it will promote intrinsic motivation. Students will be able to use more advanced thinking skills when learning new information and will focus less on the structure of the language. This approach is very student-centered as it depends entirely on the students’ ability to use the language.
Last, Problem Based Learning is teacher presents you with a problem, not lectures or assignments or exercises. Since you are not handed "content", your learning becomes active in the sense that you discover and work with content that you determine to be necessary to solve the problem. and The steps can be repeated and recycled. Clarifying unfamiliar terms , Problem definition , Brainstorm , Analyzing the problem Formulating learning issues , Self-study and Reporting This should include the problem statement, questions, data gathered, analysis of data, and support for solutions or recommendations based on the data analysis: in short, the process and outcome.
Finally, Can understand the Lesson plan. And can prepare and control the teaching students will learn more with them self more time.

learning log 3/06/13

Inside classroom learning log
This day, I’m study classroom English subject. I’m very excited and afraid to learn because this is the first subject to learn for this semester very excited in classroom. I think about this subject is difficult but it is very important develop and and improve English skills. In the first subject teacher asks everybody about (KWL),and student show the opinion about (KWL)
The first things, I tell about   opinion (KWL). Is………………
Know: is about grammar vocabulary and greeting
Want: wanted active English speaking, and a good teacher
Learn: can develop and improve English skills.
The second things, the teacher give knowledge about TOEIC TOFELS and IEIL. It is analysis and comprehensive test. Then he tells four skills listening such as find website VOA (voice of America).Reading skills such as forum, newspaper. Speaking skills Skype. Writing skills Facebook, line. And give write summary and conclusion or learning log.
The last things, the teacher to review homework, and summary learned in classroom.
In conclusion, I think this subject can method knowledge appropriate use to for student. However this subject important and practice English to profession in yourself.
